Harley & Roni

Harley & Roni is made up of me (Leona) and my darling pooch Harley, a 5 year old miniature Golden Doodle who you’ll often find with me at fairs and markets. I’ve been a Graphic Designer for over 25 years, and in that time I taught Art & Design in FE for 9 years. I still work part-time in education, but now without the stress of teaching and marking.

I’ve always had a love of stationery, anything to do with paper, packaging, and always hoped one day to design and print my own range of cards using my style of illustration. Moving to Eastbourne with my husband from London Town nearly 4 years ago, gave me the time, and opportunity to do that. So here we are! Harley and Roni have been going for nearly 3 years, and at its core my illustrations are inspired by the things I enjoy, cake, being by the sea and botanicals. I started off with greeting cards, which then moved onto Giclee prints, and my style has developed and morphed into using heavy black lines, with minimal but bold colourways. I love trying different things, so you'll find me playing with screen printing, being tested by letterpress, and most recently bookbinding, which I am hoping to combine with screen printing my own bookcloth.

All my cards, and prints are designed and made in the UK using FSC approved paper stock. I try to keep packaging to a minimum, while at the same time trying to make sure you receive your products well protected.
