I'm an Artist, Designer and Maker of handmade small batched ceramics inspired by the beautiful Sussex Downs where I live in the small historic town of Steyning, West Sussex

My ceramics are all unique, individual, organic in their nature, and often functional pieces for the home. I love to create cherished pieces you enjoy holding, using and looking at.

They are all handmade using traditional methods of pinching, coiling and slab-building. I like to use stoneware and porcelain clay, and use coloured glazes, under glazes and coloured slips for decoration. This means they are never identical and each one carries the mark of my making - bumps, dents, finger prints - revealing the hand-made nature rather than the uniformity of factory-made. I love the feel of the clay and my best work is often achieved when I simply allow an idea to flow into my hands and let the creation evolve.
