African Handprinted Plant Pot Holder

This African plant pot holder was handmade in East Sussex with a rich dark blue, handprinted African cotton fabric and upcycled hessian coffee sacks. 

The delicately designed fabric was handprinted in Gambia by Musa Jeitah, a true cratfman. Musa uses the traditional method of hand block printing with natural indigo leaves. He is the only person in his villiage still using natural dyes, which are better for the environment. 

The beautiful fabric is combined with up-cycled hessian coffee sacks in my East Sussex studio, creating the perfect eco home accessory.

They can be used as a handy stylish storage basket to brighten up your house plants or stash away that office stationery. 

If using as a plant pot holder, place plant in pot with no holes or on a tray to avoid getting the pot holder wet. Please note pot holder is not waterproof. 

Care: Recommend to sponge clean and dry flat
