Red Fused Glass Poppy Dish

A beautiful fused glass wavy dish in bright red and black colours. This dish has been designed to look like a poppy with a dark black centre and bright red outer colours. It has been made in my workshop in East Sussex by applying glass frit (small pieces of broken glass) to a clear base and then fused in the kiln for around 15 hours. It has then gone back into the kiln for another 8 hours on stainless steel wedges to achieve the wavy shape. It looks beautiful when it catches the light and is a real talking piece. Would look great on a table or windowsill.
